Aventurine is a translucent green quartz whose hematite or mica inclusions cause it to shimmer. Used in Ancient Greece, this semi-precious stone is now obtained from deposits in Brazil.

Mounted on bathroom fittings, Aventurine goes with chrome or ruthenium finishes, enhancing its intense green.
